The top of the panel is flared, enabling you to stow small items like blankets, bags, and other gear. The 1-inch thick tube can be used as a rear grab handle or as an additional mounting opportunity. Love this frame. Was easy to install. I drive a 2022 Outerbanks and the fit is still good. Dont have anything mount to it yet. It is pretty solid, I have sat on top of it myself to check, as a 225lbs person.Things of notice:Mabett LED lights do fit on top of the cross bar but does get blocked if anyone was wondering because that was a big question for me.Another note, where molle panel support bolts to the frame in the front center, it does cause a gap but it is secure so I would keep it unless you want to trim out above the aux switch panel. You do hear a light rattle from the spot once installed but its not terribly noticeable.Overall I still love this as an option for an overhead option.
