First of all I must say I have only had this phone for 3 weeks. And this thing is massive. It is bigger than you think it will be. It seems really solid.I have been a dedicated Blackberry user for about 14yrs. I loved all of them as they were solid, dependable and didn't come with a million gadgets and games. They were dependable non hackable phones with some extras. I worked for Government for many years before retiring and they were the only phone allowed for work. I carried on after retirement with them, but they are no more and my 7yr old B/Berry was dying so it had to be replaced.Now for the good things;It is big, it is solid, it seems to cover all the bases of everything that you could ever want in a phone/swiss army knife gadget.It is not loaded with games, but has a handful of apps already installed - the usuals, calculator, google, chrome, maps, messages, camera (quite decent so far)assistant, google meeting, etc.I've added a few that I had on my B/Berry and that I use regularly.The camera works well, just a bit different than I'm used to but it's a learning curve and seems to be working out ok. Some reviews have said it's not as clear or crisp as a standalone camera - no surprise there, but it's as good as any I've used on a phone. I have a big canon camera with multiple lenses that I can use if I want professional type photos, otherwise it's fine from closeups to video and selfies (only did that just t see if it worked).The phone covers a broad range of networks and adjusts and selects the best one based on where you are whether 4g or 5g or other.It draws attention - I was at a golf tournament last week and at the meal after the tourney, my phone was the topic of discussion at the table, to the point of people googling it up on their phones to learn about it and then offer commentary.The projector is a handy little thing and it's actually the primary reason I went with the 3 PRO rathe than the regular Tank 3 as I didn't have any use for a laser measuring device, but can watch videos at home or in my workshop and it's nice to have a bigger screen view than the phone offers (although the screen is big and make viewing everything easier than other phones.The not so good;My biggest peeve with this phone is that insists that you have a Gmail google account. Seems like everything that you try to access wants you Gmail account and to have access to your location, photos, other apps, etc. It wants you to link them together and load things to "the cloud". Not happening. I set up a Gmail and then blocked everything from it. Seems to be ok so far, but we'll see if it stays that way.The next biggest problem and very close behind #1 is that you get a lot of ads, especially for temu - load the app, join up, your Canadian Tire app will open after you view this temu or google ad. JUST STOP PUSHING THESE FRIGGING ADS ON ME! If I want them I'll get them.It takes some time to get used to closing some apps and then getting them off the screen. Sometimes you have to "swipe" away several times to get it to go away. As I mentioned before it's a learning curve .Answering the phone if you're in an app can be a challenge sometimes as the little icon disappears before you can answer - so you have to shrink or close the app first.Watch the charger as it will heat up the phone and the charging block if it's low battery and has to charge. If battery is at 60% it's not a problem - seems to charge a bit slower than the 120WOverall - I like the phone and as I get used to it I'm sure it'll be good and you'll like it if you get one as well
