Wanted a compact cot that I could depend on. This is NOT a lightweight assembly. However, if you are car camping and want a cot that will not collapse on you in the middle of the night.....this is it!Excellent cot for tall people. I am 6’8” and was very comfortableIt was easy to assemble and take back apart and the bag was large enough to put it back in without stuffing it.Managed the assembly more easily than I expected but disassembling proved hard for me. The long side bars are in three parts and fit in the sewn tube shaped canvas along the side of the sleeping surface. Once assembled, they fit quite tightly in this lengthwise canvas “tube” and pulling the tubing apart to store the bed took me serious time and muscles power. Maybe there is a trick?Aside from that the sleeping surface is 32” wide and 84” long. Those dimensions are the largest I was able to find and I looked a lot. Once assembled, the bed is really firm and doesn’t sag plus it feels really roomy. If I could change just one thing, it would be the height of the bed from the ground. The bed sits way too low (7” from the ground) which makes it quite difficult to get up from. Seems to me it wouldn’t be a big deal to make the legs longer. Hope the manufacturer is reading this! Meanwhile, not sure how I’ll work out a less clumsy way to get out of bed. Maybe a cane or a pole bedside the bed would help.Just set it up and I like it. I have a trip planned for a few weeks from now and will update if there are problems. From the Amazon description there must have been a few changes. Also, others noted it was difficult it get together the first time, mine was not leading me further to believe it's been updated.1. Max weight is 300, not 350.2. Material is 600D polyester, not 660.3. There are two side pockets, and zero drink holders.Update:Camped for 5 nights, zero issues and very comfortable. Easy to set up and take down. I'm 6'2" @250lbs and it supported me easily with no wiggle.You'll need some hand/wrist/arm strength to assemble. Great to sleep on. Spent a week on it during a recent trip. Very happy with it.In the product description it stated that bonus items included a blanket (Not Present), Cup holders (Not Present) and a carry bag (Present). I am very happy with the cot but the need for it this weekend prevents me from returning the item due to the missing items. I did pay a little extra as compared to another competitor for the bonus items and the arrival of the product. This normally would be a 5 star rating on the cot but without the other items not included as the description displays I must give it a 3 start rating. Disappointing as it is a good product.This is my first time assembling and using the product. The materials and workmanship are quality. My concern, at least upon using it for the first time, is the difficulty in connecting the bottom support bars. I’d consider myself a strong guy as I’m an avid weightlifter; I had trouble getting the bars aligned and connected. I’d imagine others will face the same issue. My hope is that going forward after initial assembly it will be easier to put together.Overall, I’m very happy with the product but it will be a challenge for many to assemble out of the box.
