This phone system is exactly what we were looking for. Operates as advertised. Enhanced volume is excellent.Good for visual and auditory problems. One of the handsets has a small echo problem, and the volume controls do not seem to work well, but my technology-challenged parents are very pleased with them. There is interference with my father's conventional hearing aid, but not as bad as with regular phones. I think he takes off his hearing aid on the phone anyway.The phones base units hand ear piece you place to your ear when you hang up sloshes in the craddle alot and must be perfectly placed or the phone will not hang up, or you will disconnect people when placing down to go to the speaker to listen to the caller, MAGER FLAW. The phones speaker on the base unit claims a boost is created when pressed but does not work very well and the internal circuitry for the speakers makes the sound quality shaky at best. If you do purchase this phone make sure you determine within 30 days or sooner this phone is for you or you will not get a refund. They know its junk.
